Yorktown Grads Receive Term Honors at Skidmore College

The following local students earned term honors for the fall semester at Skidmore College:
Anna Farrell, a member of the class of 2013. She is the daughter of Francis and Denise Farrell of Yorktown Heights.
Ashley King, a member of the class of 2015. She is the daughter of Richard and Marie King of Yorktown Heights.
Term honors are awarded for a quality point ratio of 3.6 from a possible 4.0, for students who have completed 14 credit hours.
Skidmore recognizes academic excellence in several ways. In addition to earning term honors based on work completed each semester, a student may be elected to the Periclean Honor Society, Skidmore's own academic honor society, or to the Skidmore chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.
Founded in 1903, Skidmore College is a co-educational, liberal arts college that enrolls approximately 2,400 students. The college grants both the bachelor of arts and the bachelor of science degree, as well as a master's degree in liberal arts.
